She then gained valuable experience working in accounting for Bristol Myers Canada Inc. However, Lydia's focus shifted when she decided to raise a family. During this time, she successfully managed her own design business from home for 13 years, all the while balancing the demands of entrepreneurship and the meticulous task of managing the company's books.

 

It was through this firsthand experience that Lydia developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by fellow entrepreneurs.
